The Season for Giving

We are very fortunate to see growth in our business once again this year.  As we wind down another successful year we like to take the opportunity to help others in our community.  This year Fire Mountain Software has made generous donations on behalf of our customers to a local shelter and community center called Rose Haven.  They provide support and resources for those experiencing homelessness and poverty.

“What’s really cool is they setup an Amazon wish list, so you can see the items they really need, the quantities or sizes, and have them sent directly to the facility,” said Steve Taylor, President and Founder of Fire Mountain Software.  “It’s great because anyone can go out there and make a donation right from your computer or phone.  And you don’t have to worry about timing or deliveries.”

In addition to their financial contribution, Fire Mountain Software employees got together to review the wish list items and stacked up a very large Amazon cart for delivery to the facility.  In fact, they crashed the cart five times by having too many items and some with special delivery requirements!  “We touched based with Rose Haven and they had never seen that happen before.  So we broke it up into 4 separate orders and were able to get it all to go through, and in time for Christmas!” commented Greg Berglund, Sales & Marketing Manager.
