Troubleshooting Installation

ELM is distributed electronically from TNT Software's Web site (http://www.tntsoftware.com). It is a self-extracting executable that will launch the setup process:

During Setup, the following services (and any services dependent on the following services) will be stopped and restarted:

•ELM Server service (only if upgrading)

•ELM Report Scheduler (only if upgrading)

•TNT Agent service (only if upgrading)

Installing an ELM Server, ELM Console and ELM Advisor using the setup package is a straightforward process that takes less than 10 minutes to complete. If you encounter any problems during setup, or if you are unable to complete installation, first ensure that the system you are using meets the minimum requirements for installation of the component.
