The Tasks panel may be opened by right-clicking the database name in the Explorer tree and selecting Tasks.
Expand ELM server > Agents, Monitors and Databases Library > All Databases to view all active databases
Primary Database: This is the main database where collected data is stored.
Test - This will make a test connection to the database to ensure it is available.
Validate - This runs a series of SQL scripts to validate the database table and view structure and repairs any issues.
Prune - This will either Prune or Archive data in the primary based on your data retention settings.
Maintenance - This will run the database maintenance job immediately.
Failover Database: This is used when nightly maintenance is run on the primary or if the primary is not available.
Test - This will make a test connection to the database to ensure it is available.
Validate - This runs a series of SQL scripts to validate the database table and view structure and repairs any issues.
Archive Database:
Test - This will make a test connection to the database to ensure it is available.
Validate - This runs a series of SQL scripts to validate the database table and view structure and repairs any issues.
Remove - Disconnects the database from the ELM server. The database remains on the SQL server.
Delete - Deletes the database from ELM and the SQL server.
Other Databases:
Test - This will make a test connection to the database to ensure it is available.
Remove - Disconnects the database from the ELM server. The database remains on the SQL server.
Delete - Deletes the database from ELM and the SQL server.
